CARNAVAL BRASIL! The festival of the sublime. Lula's festa this year will give you some of the best Brazil has to offer. This special evening will be focussed on the wonderous Carnaval traditions from Brazil's diverse regions.
Begin with the dining elegance of savory Latin cuisine accompanied by the sophisticated sounds of Bossa Nova sensations, MISTURA FINA & KARINA STONE.
Before the “Grande Festa” arrives in full force Monica Beltrame, RAINHA DA BATERIA, will warm up any new “Sambistas”, teaching you how to "Rebolar" and "Sambar" in true Brazilian style!
Filled with the heated Carnaval spirit of grace and beauty, what follows is the BRASIL NATIVA DANCERS, accompanied by the 7-piece BANDA SAMBACANA taking you on a musical trip old and new, from the north to the south. Topping off the night is Carnaval Rio Style with the explosive rhythms of the ESCOLA DE SAMBA.
Come experience a zany, magical, sensuous and rejuvinating evening. Over a hundred and eighty million Brazilians' spirits will be with you!
DJ RADAMÉS
Radamés Nieves born in Montevideo Uruguay. Started D.J.ing as a kid back in the 70's playing funk and soul down in Latin America when he would go and spend time visiting. As the groove became more of a need to feel alive he also started to spin while being back home in Canada. In the early 80's on one of his visits to Miami he encountered Tito Puente while playing at the Calle 8 festival. Instantly he became hooked on those sounds which he had grown up listening to.
